Engineered FlyteComm's FastCGI map tile servers

Used the GDAL and MapServer libraries to style and generate map tiles from Esri shape files and GeoTIFF images provided FlyteComm's customers or government sources such as Tiger. The rendering involved image warping to get everything into the Web Mercator projection (from a Lambert Conformal Conic projection) so the overlays matched up with the base maps properly. The FastCGI C++ code handles tile requests as quadtree indexes converting these into a tree-based lookup structure for faster lookups.
